We are now looking for a new colleague who wants to be challenged and develop in a role as a mentor/job matcher alongside their studies or other main occupation!
To succeed in the role of mentor/job matcher, you must genuinely be passionate about supporting and motivating others to find work. To be eligible for the position, you are a student or have another main occupation of at least 50% and are looking for part-time work.
You will work within the framework of the Employment Service's contracted job matching services "Rusta och Matcha". The assignment is expected to take up about 1 day a week and is scheduled during office hours, 8 AM to 5 PM. How you allocate your time is flexible and can be adjusted according to your studies or other main occupation.
The tasks mainly consist of coaching, guiding, and supporting job seekers into work or regular studies through individual conversations, workshops, and seminars. The work is characterized by a clear results focus with the goal of getting the participant into self-sufficiency as quickly as possible. We take a long-term view of this assignment and prefer that you have at least one year left in your studies.
The position may also include support in our recruitment processes, such as phone interviews, reference checks, selection, ad writing, and other common tasks.
It is advantageous if you have knowledge of languages other than Swedish, as many job seekers have different backgrounds.
The position will be filled when we find the right candidate, and great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
To be eligible for the position, you must be a student today at a university or college, at least 50%, or have another job that you want to combine with the role with us. In addition, you must meet one of the following requirements and be able to verify this before employment.
Option 1
Education: University education of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits according to the previous system).
Work experience: At least two (2) years of work experience equivalent to full-time. Part-time can also be accepted if the total working time corresponds to full-time over two (2) years.Option 2
Education: At least one (1) year of full-time studies at the post-secondary level with at least a passing grade.
Work experience: At least three (3) years of work experience equivalent to full-time in one or more of the following professions or tasks:
- Management with personnel responsibility.
- Recruitment.
- Transition work for job seekers.
- Study and career guidance.
- Handling personnel issues (not just personnel administration).
- Work with labor market and employment issues.
- Work with social and group psychology.
- Career guidance.Part-time can also be accepted if the total working time corresponds to full-time over three (3) years.
We would like you to have excellent communication skills and be able to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish. It is advantageous if you have previous experience in coaching, guidance, and/or recruitment and staffing.

You are good at inspiring and persuading others and are helpful and confident in yourself. You value diversity in people and have a great understanding of the impact that differences can have.
